Leaders 21 brings together people and initiatives working toward positive societal impact across areas such as education, health, culture, environment, technology, public life, and community-building.
Through our in-person gatherings, we create space to share ideas, build connections across sectors, find collaborators, and turn promising ideas into action. This page highlights some of the projects and initiatives that have previously been presented, discussed, or pitched at Leaders 21 gatherings.
A trust-based, women-only platform for real-life mutual help — designed to help women support one another in the city where they live.
Sisterhood was created in response to a growing paradox of modern life: although many women are highly connected online, they can still feel isolated when facing personal challenges, life changes, or everyday needs. The platform creates a safe, trusted space where women can ask for help, offer their time and skills, share resources, and connect with others nearby.
Sisterhood is deliberately different from a marketplace or social network. It is built around mutual support rather than transactions: there are no commissions or paid services, and trust is developed through identity checks, mutual reviews, and real-life interactions.
Women can ask for practical help such as a ride, childcare, advice, or help with moving, while others can offer their skills, resources, or simply their time.
Since launching its beta, Sisterhood has grown to nearly 100 users, with very little active promotion. Its next phase is already taking shape: the platform is developing a business hub for women-owned businesses and preparing a small pilot with its first group of businesses.
The longer-term vision is evolving toward a trusted ecosystem connecting women's communities with businesses that want to support them.
A personal-development project creating space for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and find greater clarity about where they want to go next.
Cesta Srdce was created by Adam Antoš to help people navigate periods of change and reconnect with what is meaningful to them. The project combines personal reflection, conversation, experiential practices, and shared experiences designed to support greater inner awareness, calm, and confidence.
The project was presented at Leaders 21, where Adam received feedback and encouragement to take the idea further. That conversation helped turn an early concept into a concrete next step: Cesta Srdce's first retreat, Vnitřní Klid na Šumavě, taking place in September 2026.
The pilot is designed as an immersive experience away from everyday life, giving participants space to slow down, reflect, and explore what they need for the next chapter of their lives.
Since the Leaders 21 gathering, Adam has moved from developing the concept to testing it in practice — preparing the retreat, building a team around it, developing its communication, and launching a podcast to share the project's ideas and stories more widely.
A documentary project following Roman Kunčar's journey to Albania to find the biological father he has never known — and to explore how the presence or absence of a parent shapes who we become.
Roman grew up without knowing his biological father. In September 2025, after years of questions and uncertainty, he travelled to Albania with only a name and a photograph that was more than 30 years old, hoping to find him. The journey was filmed and became the basis for a feature-length documentary.
But the project is about more than finding one person. Through Roman's story, Tátovi na stopě opens a broader conversation about absent parents, identity, relationships, masculinity, and the lasting influence our parents can have on us — whether they were present in our lives or not. Roman describes the physical search for his father as only one part of a deeper process of understanding himself and his own history.
The journey became a story of friendship, vulnerability, courage and self-discovery as Roman travelled with a small crew of friends. The resulting film combines the search itself with humor, difficult conversations and moments of reflection, aiming to make a deeply personal experience something that others can recognize themselves in.
Re:generace is a Youth-driven nature restoration initiative created by Plant-for-the-Planet Česko. It is focused on hands-on projects led by students, under the mentorship of sustainability experts, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
The ultimate goals of Re:generace are for youth to build a community of youth ambassadors around nature restoration in the process of them working on their own eco-initiatives. Empowered youth bring leadership skills back to their communities, taking local action towards a goal larger than themselves.
This is possible because Re:generace functions as a year-round programme guiding young participants through the process of turning mere interest in environmental topics into proactive involvement. Launching with one weekend academy, a hundred students come together, learn about the climate crisis and ecosystem restoration, and ultimately start developing their project ideas. In the second stage, we provide them with one-on-one mentorship and financial support to bring their ideas to life. After students move on with their projects, some may be invited to participate in local as well as international youth summits and conferences, solidifying their place in the wider environmental movement.
